Cave Dwellers by Rachell Sumpter...found here.Why does this tickle me so much? He doesn't understand it. I don't understand it. But, it's giving me great pleasure that he's reading books...not just gory medical journals. I can pass down the ones I've enjoyed and he can read them and he'll enjoy them and then we can talk about it! "We can talk about it" reminds me of the lyrics to a song...which song?! A Vanity 6 song, I think. I hate when this happens.
Anyway, He's reading Shark Dialogues by Kiana Davenport right now. It's one of my all time favorite books. The beautiful piece of art seen above reminds me of the book which is based in Hawaii. (This post is like Shoes From Around the World...except instead of art and shoes, I've done art and books! Gerri, you have solely slipped into my subconsious! Get it?! slowly/soley...You rock Chica!!)
Shark Dialogues has sex and lepers and Pearl Harbor and Hawaiian folklore and yes, sharks...great read!
