~Algonquin Bar Punch...instead of the ice block I've made a fresh pomegranate juice ice block...I don't think water adds much to anything.

Stella is just so over it! I made the punch and the bread pudding with the rum sauce. Chef Bobby is making everything else.

LOVE the punch idea, love the Algonquin hotel and don't think I've seen anything with sloe gin in it since the '80's! Bitch you be old school is right!

Lovely meal! The sorbet detail show that you really know what you know what you are doing. Although I would rather serve it after after the lobster, since the previous meal had fruit du bois that have the same astringent effect.

(Have you ever tried lemon sorbet with cava? I always have loads of it when in Madrid..it's simply divine)
