I call him The Computer Dude...cuz he looks just like The Dude from The Big Lebowski and he sounds just like...JUST FUCKING LIKE...Jeff Bridges! It is so fucking surreal. Maybe he'll let me tape record his voice?! I'll fucking ask.

At the David Sutherland Showroom in Houston, I like to hide between the fabric panels and imagine the winds coming off of the Grand Canal in Venice...the fabric panels billowing around me in the slightly noxious Venetian Summer breeze. Can one be in love with textiles? Is there a word for a textile fetish?

I'm getting desert fever. I need to hear the ocean and feel the warm sand. The Main Man and I have not been fly fishing in almost 3 years. Check me out here...5th from the bottom. We used to travel every couple of months. But, we were closer to the ocean then. Or, at least, it just felt like it. Now, we primarily travel to Mexico, but I feel a Bahamian sojourn in my bones. I decided to start my blog last November. I had no friggin' idea what I was doing. I knew I needed guidance, so after researching "how to blog for newbies" books, I purchased "The IT Girl's Guide to Blogging with Moxie". The Moxie Girls...Katherine Scoleri and Joelle Reeder are responsible for my blog makeover. Kathy listened to all of my ideas, absorbed my persona (dirty minded redhead with big boobs) and voile...Stella's Roar was reborn! Thanks, Chicas!
