Book Club...
Wednesday, March 23, 2011The book we read...the author will be speaking

Benjamin Alire Saenz
From his bio...
"In 1981, he was ordained a Catholic priest for the Diocese of El Paso, Texas. After three years, he left the priesthood and wandered around for a year, waiting tables and living in Lafayette, Louisiana and Houston Texas."

We have been getting a great response and will continue our contribution through the end of the month." For donations: http://www.confettisystem.bigcartel.com/product/tsunami-and-earthquake-relief-donation I read somewhere that Japan has received less help than Indonesia and Haiti as far as charitable giving...
