Help...

I can't sleep. I roam around the house at all hours of the night. I've tried many, many things. All for naught. Sound Sleep was my last foray into non-pharmaceutical sleep promises. It did NOT work for me. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm desperate!

The book we read...the author will be speaking

Benjamin Alire Saenz

From his bio...

"In 1981, he was ordained a Catholic priest for the Diocese of El Paso, Texas. After three years, he left the priesthood and wandered around for a year, waiting tables and living in Lafayette, Louisiana and Houston Texas."

Not the only interesting tidbit, but this really caught my eye. Wandering sometimes sounds very appealing.

CONFETTISYSTEM and JAPAN

Tuesday, March 22, 2011

I've always thought CONFETTISYSTEM'S party decorations were incredibly original...cool and different from what you normally find.

I received an email...

"In response to the devastating events in Japan, we would like to help raise funds for
the earthquake and tsunami relief efforts.
For a donation of $30, we would like to send you our Knot Ornament. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross for their work in Japan.
We have been getting a great response and will continue our contribution through the end of the month." For donations: http://www.confettisystem.bigcartel.com/product/tsunami-and-earthquake-relief-donation

I have a friend who was in Tokyo giving a presentation during the earthquake. He was stranded in Tokyo for a week...it's wonderful to have him back.

I read somewhere that Japan has received less help than Indonesia and Haiti as far as charitable giving...
