Don't Hate me cuz I Say Yay!

Of course I wanted Anya to win from the very beginning, because I'm shallow like that. I know she wasn't the best designer, can't sew, created nothing truly unique, had a publicist, a sex tape, a dead relative, blah, blah, blah. She's pretty, her clothes are pretty, she has such a kind vibe about her...so, good for her.
...now, if only I were a tall, lithe, flat chested exotic beauty, I would invest heavily in her collection and prance around in all her caftan/maxi dress glory.

As Laura Bennett pointed out...Anya's style is very similar to Uli Herzner. Click on image below to zoom off to Uli's site.

Busy Times...
Wednesday, October 26, 2011My cousin came to El Paso to visit for 5 days...he was put to work in short order. Computers updated, iTunes transferred from one computer to another, Apple Tv fixed, new amplifiers, subwoofers now woof correctly, all speakers speak at once.
He was fed and liquored up well for his trouble.
Had lunch with this guy...David Handel...very intense
IS HE THE ONE?...EPSO search for new conductor.
Then went to the performance where this guy...Pepe Romero...was the guest artist. I love Spanish guitar.
My husband and I crashed a wedding. Turns out, we were at the wrong club, but were given wine by the gracious servers as we ("we" being me) tried frantically to figure out where we were supposed to be.
Wedding crashing attire...
Apparently all of the protein worked...my hair is now longer!
My husband and cousin saved a kitten that had been run over. Amputated leg, but a foster home was found...cousin named her Lucky.
Small electrical fire...nothing crazy, but enough to rib my cousin for a couple of days.

We celebrated our 11th anniversary. Chef Victor cooked homemade pizzas (we still possess the pizza/french tart oven...I'm holding it hostage) and lobster thermidor.
Red roses for me, yellow for him.
Texting while patiently waiting to be fed.

I was told to get my shit together and put a new blog post up...apparently the paisley coat is losing its interest.

One of the benefits of blogging is hearing from others, finding out about things that I wouldn't normally know about, camaraderie...
Thank you, Ron

Deliquescence
the process by which a substance absorbs moisture from the atmosphere until it dissolves in the absorbed water and forms a solution. Deliquescence occurs when the vapour pressure of the solution that is formed is less than the partial pressure of water vapour in the air. All soluble salts will deliquesce if the air is sufficiently humid. A substance that absorbs moisture from the air but not necessarily to the point of dissolution is called hygroscopic
Thank you, Susan for sharing this.
